ASC (Ad Standards Council)
The Ad Standards Council is the self-regulatory body governing advertising standards in the Philippines.
The Ad Standards Council (ASC) is the self-regulatory body of the Philippine advertising industry. It administers the ASC Code of Ethics and Manual of Procedures, and reviews advertising materials before media placement to ensure they meet industry standards on truth, fairness, decency, and category-specific requirements.
Membership is voluntary but encompasses essentially all major advertisers, agencies, and media organizations in the country. Advertising that has not been screened by the ASC generally cannot be placed on member media channels.
